Role Overview:
The firm is seeking a qualified and experienced Conveyancing Legal Executive to join their property team. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of residential property transactions, providing expert legal advice and ensuring a smooth process from instruction to completion. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality service to clients, while meeting deadlines and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing a full caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and remortgages
2. Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documents
3. Conducting property searches, and ensuring due diligence on all transactions
4. Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties to ensure timely and accurate progress on transactions
5. Handling exchanges of contracts and completions, ensuring all legal formalities are met
6. Advising clients on legal issues related to property transactions and addressing any concerns
7. Maintaining accurate records and files using the firm’s case management system
8. Staying updated with relevant conveyancing laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Key Skills & Requirements:
9. Qualified Legal Executive (CILEx) with experience in residential conveyancing
10. Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently
11. Strong knowledge of property law and the conveyancing process
12. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
13. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused approach
14. Proficiency in using case management systems and other legal software
15. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
