UK & Nordics Managing Director, Marketplace Division, Global Lead Gen Co.

They create strategic marketing campaigns and buy all the necessary media to convert web visitors into customers. With various specialties in their wheelhouse (social media advertising, native, display, and SEO), they are an all-around lead generation agency with many experts, creativity, and in-house technology to make the most of high quality leads for clients.
We are looking for a Managing Director for the UK & Nordics to oversee and inspire commercial teams and drive profits. Reporting directly to the Global Managing Director this role is part of the mid-level management team.
Collaborating closely with Business Directors and the Executive team, the MD will ensure that the business achieves its profit and growth targets through the development and execution of commercial strategy. Responsible for day-to-day results and strategic vision for the UK & Nordics, the MD will oversee; business development, paid marketing, operations, account success and customer service teams.
This role is pivotal in identifying new opportunities and ensuring stability, future scalability and commercial success. It requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in business development and leadership.
Requirements:
* Performance marketing experience within a digital lead generation agency, marketplace or platform
* Proven success managing sales teams in a digital / performance environment
* Experience selling a digital marketplace solution to mid-market and enterprise level customers
* Team management running at least 5+ senior direct reports
* P & L exposure
* Budgeting & forecasting
* International experience beneficial
* Contacts in energy and home improvements sector a huge advantage
