About this role and you: We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our Brand team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their design career who’s eager to grow their skills and contribute to a well-loved and fast-growing homewares brand. You’ll play a key role in creating engaging visual content across print and digital platforms—from email campaigns and social media assets to packaging and in-store materials. Working within the Design and wider Brand team, you’ll help bring the nkuku story to life through beautiful, brand-aligned design. About your key responsibilities: • Design engaging and on-brand assets for digital and print, including website graphics, email marketing, paid media, and in-store materials. • Support the marketing and e-commerce teams with high-quality visuals that drive engagement and conversions. • Develop creative concepts and campaign visuals, ensuring they align with nkuku’s brand identity and values. • Edit and retouch photography to enhance product and lifestyle imagery. • Edit video content. • Work collaboratively with internal teams to bring briefs to life, ensuring deadlines are met. • Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices to keep our creative fresh and inspiring. • Staying ahead of industry trends and platform updates to ensure nkuku remains at the forefront of digital marketing. About your skills and knowledge: This position would suit a versatile and detail-oriented designer with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and commercial work. • Proven experience in graphic design, ideally within a retail, lifestyle, or e-commerce brand. • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). • Experience designing for both digital and print applications. • Experience in video editing. • A keen eye for typography, layout, and brand consistency. • Ability to interpret briefs and translate them into compelling visuals. • Experience in photo editing and retouching. • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • A proactive and collaborative approach, with a passion for design and creativity This is an exciting opportunity for a creative designer to make an impact within a growing brand and contribute to the visual storytelling of nkuku.
