The Role
This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking to advance your career over the next couple of years. The Sales Coordinator role offers hands-on experience with the full sales process, including attending meetings with clients and contributing to business development activities. You’ll also need to establish relationships with our supply chain partners to help support our sales efforts with clients.
What You'll Do:
* Entering quotes into the ERP system
* Assisting customers with both pre and post-sales inquiries, working closely with the sales team and other departments to resolve any issues that may arise
* Producing relevant performance and sales reports
* Helping onboard new clients in collaboration with the finance team
* Supporting the organisation and delivery of customer visits, events, and award ceremonies
* Aiding in the preparation of business proposals, pitches, and tender responses
* Conducting market research to identify opportunities and potential risks
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
* Setting up monitoring systems to spot potential tendering opportunities
What You'll Need:
* Confident and self-driven
* Professional and adaptable approach to work, including willingness to travel (around 25% of the time)
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with good numeracy
* Highly organised, with the ability to meet deadlines
* Attentive and committed to providing excellent customer service
* Capable of working effectively under pressure
* Detail-oriented
* A team player with a proactive attitude towards self-management
* Skilled at building rapport with customers and suppliers
* Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
