Covering all things property related the team are responsible for asset compliance, day to day repairs, energy management and capital investment programmes. We currently have an exciting vacancy within our team for a Water Hygiene Surveyor to enable us to continue to build on our success and bring new experience, knowledge and ideas into the team. We are responsible for all aspects relating to water hygiene management, including the delivery of compliance workstreams on a large and varied portfolio of land and buildings across the City of Salford. We deal with schools, social care premises, housing buildings, leisure buildings and listed historic buildings, etc. About you We re looking for a highly motivated water hygiene professional with a love and passion for all things building related, you form part of a multi disciplined team delivering maintenance, installation and compliance works to a wide range of commercial water systems. Responsible for ensuring Salford City Council remains complaint for all matters relating to water hygiene to a wide range of clients in the private, education and local authority sectors, you will bring extensive knowledge of the legislation, regulation and best practice around everything water safety related.. Previous experience of working within the water safety sector is essential as is experience of creating and implementing policies, procedures and written schemes for a wide range of water assets. About the role This role is for a Water Hygiene Surveyor, and they will be responsible for ensuring Salford City Council remains complaint for all matters relating to water hygiene to a wide range of clients in the private, education and local authority sectors. You will serve as the lead for all matters relating to water hygiene for a wide variety of commercial, residential, and industrial buildings and water systems, ensuring water risk assessments are completed on time and to a high standard and that remedial works and recommendations are reviewed, prioritised and completed within SLA The role will also be responsible for the contract management of our specialist water hygiene contractor which will include undertaking pre and post inspections of works to ensure high levels of quality control, contractor meeting and assisting with procurement.
