Job Title: Y5 Maternity Cover Location: North West England, Lancashire, Skelmersdale Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours. Salary: £12.90 - £14.00 Per hour Job Duties: Provide maternity cover for a Year 5 class Plan and deliver engaging lessons following the national curriculum Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and senior staff Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with colleagues to support student development Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching in a primary school setting Knowledge of the national curriculum for Year 5 Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience working with students with special educational needs Working Conditions: The role involves working in a primary school setting, following school hours and term dates.
