JOB VACANCY: Membership Development Officer REPORTING TO: Commercial and Membership Director DESCRIPTION The Ulster Farmers Union (UFU) is seeking a dynamic and motivated Membership Development Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Commercial and Membership Director, you will play a key role in supporting membership retention and recruitment initiatives, building relationships with UFU Groups, and promoting the UFUs presence across Northern Ireland. Key Responsibilities: Support the daily operations of the UFU Membership Department. Liaise directly with UFU Groups to assist with membership retention and recruitment. Build and manage relationships with Group Managers, providing support and promoting targets. Coordinate and promote Group/HQ meetings, events, and training sessions. Monitor membership targets using the UFU database and assist with CRM training. Produce marketing and PR materials to enhance UFUs visibility. Represent UFU at events such as the Balmoral Show and livestock marts. Identify and recruit new members while maintaining accurate records. Support affinity partner deals and membership development projects. Contribute to team meetings and undertake additional duties as required. Salary The salary scale for this full time permanent position is £28,090 - £33,045.
