Third Party Assist Claims Handler
We are currently seeking a Third Party Claims Handler to join our dynamic Third Party Assist team in Glasgow. In this role, you will have the opportunity to actively engage with non-fault third parties to understand their requirements and provide them with exceptional service.
As a Third Party Claims Handler you will proactively contact non-fault third parties to establish their needs, administer prompt deployment of services from NFUM's approved supplier network and promote NFUM as a brand to third party potential customers to maximise future insurance sale opportunities and increase customer base. You will also be responsible for retaining claims and progressing them to closure.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
* Making outbound calls: Engage with Third party claimants to offer tailored solutions and services that meet their individual needs.
* Administer prompt deployment of services from NFUM's approved supplier network and promote NFUM as a brand.
* Take ownership of claims, ensuring they are managed efficiently and effectively from start to settlement.
About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic to join our supportive and inclusive team environment. Ideally, you should have experience in third-party capture or outbound sales within the insurance industry. You'll also have the following skills:
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Strong verbal communications.
* Strong negotiation, questioning and decision-making skills.
* Good organisational and planning skills.
* Proficient IT skills and use of Microsoft Office 365.
