We are looking for a technical pensions specialist to join our home based team. You will come from a DB background in either a technical or senior administration role.
The work you will be doing is project based and is client facing, projects include but are not limited to, de-risking, scheme communication, calculation changes, benefits changes and GMP.
This role is perfect if you are an existing Pensions Technician or come from a pensions administration background and have worked with excel and calculations and want to move into a project based pensions role.

Job Description
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead on the delivery of assigned projects and scheme events
* Review the work of Pensions Data Technicians and provide feedback and technical support
* Regularly review the effectiveness and efficiencies of existing systems and controls and make suggestions to continually enhance service delivery and improve processes
* Running and specifying data extracts from the administration system including bespoke reports
* Perform bulk calculations in Excel
* Identify opportunistic income work and provide cost estimates to the client and commercial teams
* Provide project updates and time scales to the GMPe Manager
What we’re looking for:
* Experience of working on Occupational Pension schemes is essential at a technical level
* Project based experience
* Good problem-solving skills
* Advanced excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, ability to manipulate data in bulk, data reports etc.)
* Strong Analytical Skills
* Effective at delivering feedback and ability to coach others
* Good communication skills, written and verbal
