Salary: £76.92 - £95.68 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for a caring and dedicated Autism Support Worker to join a supportive school in Wimborne. Responsibilities
As an Autism Support Worker, you will:
1. Provide tailored support to students with autism, helping them engage in learning and daily activities.
2. Work closely with teachers and other staff to implement individualised support plans.
3. Foster a calm and inclusive environment that supports emotional and social development.
4. Assist with classroom activities, sensory support, and behavioural management strategies.
5. Monitor progress and provide feedback to the team, ensuring each student achieves their potential.
6. Build trusting relationships with students, promoting their independence and confidence.
Requirements
To excel as an Autism Support Worker, you should have:
1. A genuine interest in supporting individuals with autism.
2. Previous experience in a similar role or working with children with additional needs (preferred).
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. A calm, patient, and understanding approach to working with children.
5. The ability to adapt to the individual needs of each student.
6. A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or the willingness to apply for one.
