Senior Design Engineer - Lincoln

The team in Lincoln is looking for a Senior Civil Design Engineer to deliver highway and drainage design for a wide variety of exciting projects across the built environment and major infrastructure. This is a permanent role and the ideal candidate will have 5 years experience. The company offers excellent career progression and support with professional development. The team has a very flexible approach with working from home, and the Senior Engineer can be based in Lincoln or Peterborough offices.
Outline Requirements
1. Minimum 5 years proven experience
2. HND or degree level qualification in Civil Engineering
3. Ideally IEng/CEng with membership of relevant professional engineering institution
4. Experience in adoptable infrastructure design and the negotiation of Section 104, 106, 278, 38 Agreements
5. Competent in highway design
6. Competent in foul and surface water drainage design including SUDS
7. Competent in preparing drainage strategies and flood risk assessments
8. Experience in liaising with local authorities and other stakeholders to obtain necessary technical approvals and consents
9. Ability to use computer design software packages including MicroDrainage and AutoCAD Civil 3D
10. Sound detailing knowledge
11. Sound understanding of CDM Regulations and the responsibilities of a designer
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 depending on experience/qualifications.
