KS1 Teaching Assistant Needed – Sunderland\n\nAre you an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Sunderland for the summer term.\n\n Location: Sunderland\n Start Date: April 28th\n Duration: Until July (potential to go permanent)\n Position: KS1 Teaching Assistant (Year 1 & Year 2)\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nProvide general support in Year 1 and Year 2 classrooms\n\nAssist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons\n\nSupport children with their learning and development\n\nHelp manage classroom behaviour and encourage a positive learning environment\n\nRequirements:\n\n✅ Ideally Level 3 qualified (but relevant experience will be considered)\n ✅ Experience working with KS1 pupils\n ✅ Passion for supporting children’s education and well-being\n ✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills\n\nThis is a full-time opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position.\n\n Apply now by sending your CV to Teaching Personnel!\n\nAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
