A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Inclusion Thurrock Talking Therapies for you to join a dynamic team committed to supporting people with common mental health problems living within Thurrock.
The role of Team Leader will be to managerially lead a team of Step 3 staff of the Thurrock NHS Talking Therapies services. The post holder will provide all aspects of line management to a team of Step 3 clinicians (trainee & qualified) within the service.

We are looking for a Team Leader who is skilled and experienced with leading a team. You must have Talking Therapies experience and evidence of working with a range of problems experience. You will have a significant knowledge and understanding of the aims and objectives of the NHS Talking Therapies programme.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that service and individual performance targets at Step 2 / Step 3 are met, identifying and resolving underperformance and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve results.
The post holder is expected to have a small caseload to meet the minimum requirements for professional registration/ Accreditation
The post holder will also be working with Staff, Service Users and Carers from different cultural backgrounds, ages, difference and diversity, and should be committed to culturally sensitive practice and offering equality of opportunity.

1. To provide line management and caseload supervision to Step 2/Step 3 clinical staff within the NHS Talking Therapies Services.
2. To support the Clinical and Operational Leads in planning and organising for the efficient running of the service, delegating activities as required.
3. Promote and maintain links with other staff within the service to help co-ordinate the provision of an effective NHS Talking Therapies Service.
4. Liaise with the Operational and Clinical Leads and other leads to ensure that communication and protocols between these are robust, and that clients experience a seamless, efficient, and effective service.
5. To provide consultation and support to therapists in the management of risk and safety.
6. To provide monthly case load / line management supervision to staff to ensure they are meeting all key KPI requirements of clinical roles.

7. Qualified and able to provide one High Intensity Talking Therapies intervention: CBT, EMDR, IPT, Counselling for Depression, Couples Counselling for Depression, DIT. OR Post graduate diploma or equivalent qualification in Counselling
8. Accredited with BABCP/UKCP/BACP/NCS
