We are seeking a skilled and experienced healthcare professional to join our team as a WCA Functional Specialist.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics to leverage their clinical knowledge and skills in a new role with a leading employer.
As a WCA Functional Specialist, you will conduct comprehensive assessments of claimants' health conditions or disabilities and their impact on daily life for the Government's Work Capability Assessment (WCA) benefit.
You will have a wide range of responsibilities, including:
* Taking account of various health conditions and disabilities affecting individuals
* Conducting thorough assessments and delivering Work Capability Assessment reports
* Gathering further evidence and returning required documentation to the department
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong IT literacy, and relevant experience in a clinical setting.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must:
* Be a Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic
* Have at least one year of post-qualification experience
* Hold valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions
Working Arrangements
This is a hybrid working opportunity with a mix of home and clinic-based work. You will work 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility to manage cases remotely.
