VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a long-standing client in Dungannon to recruit a new member of their team to cover payroll and multiple aspects of their accounts.
Main Duties:
Payroll:
- Process weekly & monthly payrolls
- Maintain and reconcile pension contributions and payments to the Pension provider and General Ledger.
- Assist with employee year-end HMRC submissions.
Expenses & Credit Card:
- Review, categorise, and record monthly employee expenses and credit card statements in the Nominal Ledger.
- Assist in transitioning to an automated app for processing expenses and credit card transactions.
Bank:
- Review and categorise daily bank receipts and payments.
- Allocate cash to appropriate customer/supplier accounts.
- Prepare bank payment runs, transfers, and sundry payments.
- Authorise bank transactions.
- Conduct weekly cash analysis and submit cash flow projections.
- Reconcile daily bank transactions to the Nominal Ledger.
VAT:
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Analyse and review deferred duty & VAT transactions.
- Prepare Intrastat submissions.
- Assist with Making Tax Digital and direct HMRC submissions.
About you:
- Strong experience in payroll and accounts
