N.B. This role can either be Hybrid or fully remote but you must be available to spend a minimum of 4-6 weeks in the office during the day e.g. 9am to 5.30pm, for training purposes.

Key duties & Responsibilities:
As an Export Customs Administrator, you’ll be at the frontline of global trade – preparing essential customs documentation to ensure client goods can move seamlessly out of the UK and into international markets. You’ll work closely with exporters and internal teams to guarantee all legal requirements are met in line with HMRC regulations.
·Preparing and processing export customs documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.)
·Coordinating with exporters and internal teams to gather necessary information
·Entering export shipment details into specialist customs software (NCTS, NES, etc.)
·Ensuring accurate and timely completion of customs entries
·Maintaining compliance with customs regulations and company policies
·Keeping records updated and ensuring data accuracy
Key Skills and Qualifications to succeed in this role:
·Experience working in a customs or international logistics environment
·Knowledge of HMRC customs regulations and processes
·Familiarity with customs platforms like CHIEF (CDS), NCTS, and NES
·Academic qualifications in customs or international trade (preferred but not essential)
·Excellent communication and customer service skills
·Strong administration skills with attention to detail
·Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems
·Strong numerical and analytical skills
·Highly organised and able to work independently
·GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English (pass rate required)
