Job title: Senior CAD Designer

Salary: £35,000
What you’ll be doing:
1. Working on the design and production of the 3D model of the whole boat primary structure.
2. Producing 2D drawing outputs to support the manufacturing and production teams in product build and delivery.
3. Collaborating as a team, sharing best practice and improving our product and design.
Your skills and experiences:
1. Previous experience within a design role with a background from a high hazard industry such as Civil, Structures, Marine, Oil & Gas Environment / background.
2. Ability to use CAD Packages, particularly FORAN, NX and / or Solidworks.
3. Knowledge of techniques, processes and tools for large scale detailed designs of platforms, assemblies, systems and equipment installation.

The Hull & Outfit team:
You will be surrounded and supported by other Designers such as Principal Designers, Assistant Project Leaders and Project Leaders to ensure you are supported and set up for success in your new role with us. The specialised teams within the overall design team include but are not limited to: Seating, Penetrations, Eye plates, Primary Structure, Hull Mechanics. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
