An award winning telecommunications company is on the lookout for top Business Development talent. They seek an individual with either telecom experience or a strong telesales background. The company delivers bespoke, affordable, business-boosting telecom systems to SMEs across the U.K.
You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales leads, and passing the lead over to a senior business executive initially. This individual will be a highly motivated self-starter able to identify and develop new business opportunities from the database provided and with purchased leads.
Using rough scripts and the ability to handle objections, build relationships, and close business against internal targets, the salary for this role is up to £25,000, based on experience, with an uncapped commission scheme on top of this.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Generate and qualify new leads
2. Deliver a high level of customer service
3. Build strong customer relations with new customers
4. Maintain high motivation and engagement to achieve success
5. Create and maintain records of closed leads
6. Make outbound calls
7. Demonstrate the ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets on a weekly/monthly basis
8. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
9. Show excellent client service skills
10. Ideally have a proven track record of strong client relationships
11. Possess basic computer literacy including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
