Harmonic are delighted to be working alongside one of the most exciting and well respected Artist Management businesses in London, in the search for a Finance Assistant to join their growing team. This is a newly created role in line with the growth of the organisation, illustrating how exciting a time it is within the company.

Having established themselves over 30 years ago, our client has fully established themselves within their sector, home to an eclectic mix of artists that are both known globally and that are also bursting onto the scene. With an extremely strong balance sheet helping to facilitate their next growth phase, this is a business with really exciting and ambitious plans over the next 3 – 5 years.

The Role:
Reporting into a fantastic Finance Director who has received multiple internal promotions throughout their tenure, this position is a fantastic role for junior candidates looking to kick on with their finance career. Due to the creative nature of the industry, and the tight knit feel to the group, this will suit ambitious and outward facing candidates that enjoy working autonomously and as part of a team.
Duties:
* Generating and Issuing Invoices ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
* Managing Credit Control, monitor outstanding invoices, follow up on overdue payments
* Payment Reconciliation using Xero, ensuring accuracy and supporting bookkeeping function
* Processing Client Payments and Remittances
* Assist Finance Director and other senior team members with ad-hoc finance tasks
* General Finance Administration support, maintaining organisation and supporting daily functions.
* Perform basic due diligence on business transactions to support risk management efforts.
* Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
* Contribute to the improvement of finance-related tools, systems, and processes, such as automated workflows, reconciliation procedures, and reporting templates.
What we need to see (essential):
* Ambitious and keen to grow within finance
* 6 – 12 months finance experience
What we need to see (bonus):
* AAT / ACCA / ACA / CIMA Studier
* Xero software experience
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 + study support + industry perks
Location: London (3 days in office / 2 days from home)
