Children's Home Manager
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000
Location: Keighley (1-bed occupied home)
This provider is seeking a passionate and experienced Children's Home Manager to lead a small service that supports children and young people with learning disabilities, complex needs and challenging behaviours. This role is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organization and make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish and manage a new children's home.
2. Lead, inspire, and develop a cohesive staff team.
3. Set and monitor performance goals and objectives.
4. Build positive relationships with young people and their families.
5. Ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and well-being for all residents.
Candidate Requirements:
1. A minimum of two years' experience supervising staff.
2. At least two years' experience in residential childcare, ideally as a Deputy Manager.
3. Qualifications:
4. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
5. Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
6. A valid driving license.
7. Experience working with children who exhibit challenging behaviours.
8. A flexible approach to scheduling, with the ability to cover shifts when required.
