Morson Talent are looking for Aircraft Fitters for our prestigious client based in Brize Norton, Oxford.
Our client provides MAA Part 145 Aircraft support to the RAF A400M (Atlas) fleet.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As an Aircraft Fitter, you will be responsible for Maintenance, Repairs, and Modifications to the aircraft. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Compliance with the organisational policies and procedures
2. Identifying and rectifying existing and potential unsafe conditions
3. Maintaining the work environment in a clean and safe manner using a "clean as you go" approach
4. Complying with company Safety Management System (SMS) occurrence reporting procedures
5. Complying with the safety policy
6. Completing aircraft paperwork to a high standard
7. An awareness of COSHH, Working at height, and Manual handling safety requirements
8. Actively embrace a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture
Essential Job Functions:
1. Responsible for the maintenance of the aircraft and safe use of ground equipment
2. Can accurately navigate and interpret aircraft maintenance documentation
3. Carry out aircraft modifications and light structural work if required
Candidate Essential Requirements:
1. Must hold a valid aircraft standards-based qualification (Apprenticeship/NVQ level 3) or aircraft-related academic qualification/traineeship with a minimum of 3 years recorded experience
2. Current Human factor initial and refresher, EWIS, and SFAR 88 certificate
3. Knowledge of aeronautical regulations
4. Must have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom
5. Fluency in English, both written and verbal
6. Be able to successfully complete MOD security clearance
Desirable Criteria:
1. Experience on A400M, Propeller, or Wide body Aircraft
2. Previous exposure to AirN@v and Amos
3. Knowledge of Military Aviation Authority (MAA) MRP Part 145 regulations
4. Good communication skills, both verbally and written, and interpersonal skills
5. A proven ability to work as part of a team
6. Ability to work on their own initiative and demonstrate leadership skills
7. Proficient organisational skills and an ability to work in an efficient manner
8. IPAF/MEWP familiarisation
Typical Working Conditions:
1. Primarily based in Brize Norton; however, travel may be required
2. Shift will be 5x5x4-day shift 0700-1900; Night shift is also available 1900-0700
3. PPE is provided

Duration: 1 year contract
Hours: 5x5x4 shift approx. 40 hours per week with potential overtime - 07.00 to 19.00 for day shift or 19.00 to 07.00 for night shift
Pay: £30 ph umbrella and £23.24 PAYE
