A Veterinary Receptionist is required to join our friendly team at our Hagley branch. Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner are essential.
About the role
Your role will involve:
* Being the first line of contact for clients and their animals at the Practice and via telephone.
* Relay accurately and act in a timely manner on all messages taken.
* Act in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
* Welcoming and registering clients on arrival, and making appointments.
* Dispensing medicines as directed by the vet.
* Taking payments and cashing up.
Rota
This is a part-time permanent role working 20 hours per week. Weekends are 1 in 6 Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 6 weeks later, Sunday morning from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Bromsgrove branch.
Shifts in the week include Monday from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and Fridays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The salary will be up to £11,960 DOE per annum.
