Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a traditional local family business, specialising with the food manufacturing industry. We are looking for an experienced sales & business development representative, ideally having knowledge in the food industry, and a proved track record of achieving sales quotas.
Responsibilities
* Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services.
* Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs, and developing proposals to address these needs.
* Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients.
* Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients.
* Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them.
* Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products and services.
* Utilising Sales systems, cold leads, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
* Identify the needs of prospects and suggest appropriate products or services.
* Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
* Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
* Set up meetings or calls with prospective customers.
Skills
