Phlebotomy is the skill of obtaining a blood sample by using varying techniques and equipment, whilst following trust guidance and policy.
The teams provide a warm and welcoming supportive learning environment and share a wealth of experience and knowledge.
Previous experience working as a Phlebotomist is not required as full supervised training will be provided.

Job responsibilities
Excellent communication skills along with a pleasant, friendly and understanding disposition are essential for this role and previous experience of working with the general public would be an advantage.
This role will require the post holder to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including masks, aprons and gloves as per trust guidance.
You must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment which sees a high turnover of patients daily.
