About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Recruiter to join the Talent Acquisition team in London. This role will support VP and Director level hiring within EMEA CIB and MD and Board level hiring within EMEA.
In this role you will:
* Lead complex initiatives for recruiting and selecting highly technical or more experienced level management individuals from internal and external sources
* Support hiring managers in CIB by proactively identifying and cultivating relationships with high caliber senior level talent within the industry,
* Develop relationships with senior leaders and be the subject matter expert for specialised talent acquisition needs.
* Consult with recruiting counterparts, hiring managers, and HR business partners to develop and execute search strategies to proactively recruit diverse talent for openings.
* Develop and manage the recruitment strategy for multiple critical openings, from the initial research and planning phase to candidate identification, assessment, development, and presentation.
* Develop and maintain market specific intelligence relevant to the business and talent needs to include maintaining a network of industry contacts/documents and report out on search progress, including candidate pipelines, diversity initiatives, and market related compensation.
* Provide counsel to executive level hiring managers during assessment and evaluation of candidates and act as primary negotiator and closer of selected candidates, as well as conduct thorough references on all finalist candidates.
* Provide consultation to partners to assist with hiring decisions and analysis of details of complex offers.
* Ensure a strong, positive client and candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Develop a strong understanding of business issues within the industry and utilise knowledge in search planning for appropriate company targeting.
* Position and effectively articulate the Wells Fargo employment brand. Interact with and provide thought leadership to other recruiters within Wells Fargo.
* Manage third party vendors/search firm relationships efficiently.
* Provide leadership and consultation on various ad hoc projects focused on human capital initiatives within the LOB.
* Understand and ensure adherence to all hiring policies
* Complete all process requirements including dispositioning candidates, ensuring compliance with all policy and regulatory requirements
* Lead Recruiting projects and serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals
Required Qualifications:
* Executive/Senior Recruiting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
* Knowledge of the UK and EMEA regulatory environment
* Investment Banking and Markets Recruiting experience
* Full life cycle recruiting experience
* Proven experience in senior level hiring, managing, and collaborating with senior executives
* Strong sourcing skills to attract top talent by utilizing all appropriate channels including online resources, events, relationship building and networking.
* Demonstrates strong understanding of business acumen, aligning sourcing and hiring strategy with organisational goals.
* Demonstrates proficiency in analysing recruitment related metrics; displays strong understanding of recruitment best practices, techniques, and tools.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong interpersonal, consultative and relationship building skills.
* High level of integrity, professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
* Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), MS tools.
* Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, practices, and procedures, including an understanding of legal and regulatory recruiting requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience developing and negotiating complex and sophisticated offers - Inclusive of navigating and collaborating with internal partners.
* Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications.
* Knowledge and understanding of contact management systems, Beamery and LinkedIn preferred
* Experience consulting, influencing, and partnering with business executives, leadership, human resources partners and peers.
