About The Role:
This renown Construction business are currently looking to appoint a Civil’s Estimator to provide support to their Estimating department. The Estimating department is responsible for the growth and delivery P&L and workload across numerous construction projects across Scotland, on behalf of both the public and private sector.
As a Civil Estimator, you will have a combined blend of technical and commercial skills and enjoy working as part of a team, developing project scope, programmes and cost for clients which are deemed both sustainable and within budget.
Key Responsibilities for the Civil Estimator role include:
1. Developing and producing the discipline specific estimate, quantitative take-off and Bills Of Quantity (BOQs).
2. Assisting in the development of and actively developing an understanding of the project solution, challenge where appropriate, to enable the creation of the estimate.
3. Engaging and coordinating with all Estimating disciplines and Engineering / Technical Specialists.
4. Conducting detailed cost estimates for a variety of groundworks projects.
5. Analysing project plans and specifications to develop accurate pricing.
