The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in estate maintenance. As a Maintenance Worker, you will gain valuable experience while working alongside a knowledgeable team dedicated to preserving the estate's unique character and natural beauty.
Key Responsibilities
* Building Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs across estate properties, including residential, commercial, and heritage buildings.
* Groundskeeping: Maintain paths, fences, and other outdoor infrastructure, ensuring safety and accessibility.
* Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, repair, and service estate machinery, tools, and vehicles.
* Health & Safety: Ensure all activities comply with relevant safety standards and practices.
* General Support: Assist with estate events, visitor facilities, and other operational needs as required.
What We’re Looking For
Key Requirements
* A positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning new skills.
* Proven experience in a maintenance, trade, or similar hands-on role.
* Practical skills in carpentry, plumbing, general repairs, or machinery maintenance.
* A proactive and adaptable attitude with a willingness to learn and take on diverse tasks.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full UK driving licence is essential; tractor or machinery operation experience is desirable.
* A love for the outdoors and an appreciation for the unique challenges of working on a rural estate.
