You will have a big influence on young people's development as a KS1 teacher at a crucial point in their education. With your expertise and dedication, you'll deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of each student differently. Your extraordinary ability to control behaviour will create a nurturing learning atmosphere where every child is motivated to realise their greatest potential.
Roles & responsibilities:
1. Developing suitable lesson plans that adhere to the National Curriculum while staying current with modifications.
2. Designing dynamic classes that engage students of all skill levels and, where necessary, collaborating with colleagues and teaching assistants.
3. Arranging equipment and displays, and preparing the classroom.
4. Enhancing student's topic inquiry through a variety of resource use.
5. Using a variety of instructional strategies to stimulate and promote class participation, such as group projects, independent study, experiments, and play,.
6. Encouraging children to work together to achieve goals.
7. Assisting and encouraging specific students as needed, while accepting accountability for their learning outcomes.
The successful candidate will:
8. Have Qualified teacher status (QTS) (Must have)
9. Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
10. Provide 2 proven professional references.
11. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get one.
12. A qualified teacher with experience teaching in KS1
13. Be passionate about providing high-quality education to young learners
14. Be committed to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
15. Be creative and innovative, with a willingness to try new teaching methods
16. Be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support student achievement
