Purchasing Assistant

The Purchasing Assistance will be joining a successful and challenging business where the ideal candidate will possess commercial and interpersonal skills combined with solid procurement experience. A Purchasing Assistant is needed to support the function of the Group Purchasing Manager.
As a Purchasing Assistance, some of your duties and responsibilities include;
1. Administration of purchasing systems
2. Administration of suppliers information on purchasing database
3. Ordering and replenishing stock levels of stock held in central warehouse
4. Raising central and forward purchase orders of approved suppliers
5. Close interaction with all stake holders across the business and also suppliers
6. Assist with gathering and formatting of information for tenders
