Work hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Salary: £28,000 to £30,000, plus on target earnings of £50,000 Hybrid working Free lunch Free parking Pension Healthcare Volunteering opportunities Discounted tickets to events Business Development Manager Responsibilities: Work closely with the Head of Sales to support the development and delivery of sales strategies for designated areas of the business Proactively identify new B2B business opportunities, pursuing each lead and maximising on every opportunity Effectively respond to internal sales enquiries, prioritising each enquiry, converting them into sales, and directing them to different areas of the business as necessary Enhance brand awareness and foster close-knit working relationships with new and existing customers both over the phone and when attending networking and trade events Maximise each opportunity by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, encouraging sales and passing on potential leads to the wider sales team Send regular marketing materials to prospective and existing customers to boost sales Handle all sales administration which includes updating your sales pipeline, finalising contracts, and updating sales forecasts by providing relevant sales information on a weekly and monthly basis Business Development Manager Skills and Experience: Possesses a track record of developing new business, achieving sales and meeting KPIs Ideally has connections within large SMEs and corporates, and is confident networking at events and building good relationships Confident negotiating with and presenting to prospective customers and is experienced in closing sales Demonstrates remarkable communication and interpersonal skills, skilled in cold calling businesses, liaising at all levels and adapting to each customer and their needs Tenacious, self-motivated and innovative, enjoys chasing new business opportunities and always strives to maximise opportunities and profitability Enjoys contributing to the overall success of the sales team and wider business IT literate, proficient user of Microsoft Office
