This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a clinical trials unit, supporting the management of trial medications and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Support the preparation, dispensing, and management of clinical trial medications. Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory requirements, and hospital policies. Work closely with clinical research teams to ensure the accurate handling and documentation of trial drugs. Monitor trial patients’ medication regimes and provide expert pharmaceutical advice on clinical trial medications. Contribute to the development of trial protocols and provide input into study design from a pharmacy perspective. Maintain accurate records for trial medications, ensuring audit readiness at all times. Provide training and support to junior pharmacy staff on clinical trial processes and procedures. Essential Requirements: Previous experience in clinical trials pharmacy is essential. GPhC registration as a qualified pharmacist. Proven knowledge of clinical trials regulations, including GCP and MHRA guidelines. Experience in the preparation, dispensing, and management of clinical trial drugs. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with research teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high levels of accuracy under pressure. Hourly Rates: The role offers competitive hourly rates between £28 to £35 per hour, depending on experience.
