The Head of Technical Operations at Piramal Grangemouth is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Technical Operations department to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves providing expert guidance on manufacturing process scale-up activities and resolving siting issues, supervising the seamless transition of client ADC products into manufacturing suites, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate early-stage process development and transfer to GMP manufacture. Additionally, the role will oversee the refinement of GMP processes, optimize material requirements, and provide support for the implementation of next-generation equipment. This position requires strong leadership skills, self-motivation, and the ability to coach production managers in audit preparedness and execution. The Head of Production Support will report to the Operations Director and deputize in their absence on the Senior Leadership Team. Overview: The Head of Technical Operations is responsible for providing strategic oversight and leadership to the Technical Operations department. This includes managing the smooth transition of client ADC products into manufacturing suites, optimizing resources, providing support to the manufacturing team, and ensuring quality management oversight. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align activities with business objectives and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, the manager will lead and develop the departmental team, fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment. Effective communication and collaboration with other departments, such as manufacturing, quality assurance, and MSAT are essential to ensure seamless integration of production support activities and alignment with overall business objectives.
