Office Administrator

We are recruiting for an Office Administrator to work at our customer's site in Glasgow on a contract basis.
We currently have an excellent opportunity to provide 13 months of maternity leave cover for the role of Office Administrator at our customer's brand-new Glasgow office.
Role details:
* Job title: Office Administrator
* Contract length: 13 months

* Contract type: PAYE via Umbrella solution
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Reception duties including being ‘Front of house’, managing visitor access, local HSE and security inductions and car parking.
* HSE and Security responsibilities including raising, processing and resolving issues, communicating key updates, conducting audits and liaising with the key points of contact based at the main Derby site.
* Administrative support to the onsite Engineering teams and related teams based at the main Derby site. This could include raising purchase orders, assisting with IT account and equipment requests, maintaining stock control of consumable items such as stationery and PPE, maintaining both digital and physical filing systems for easy retrieval of information, assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation, support to events and away days.
* General administrative support such as meeting room management and coordinating the maintenance of office equipment.
* Liaise with the Technical Administration team in Derby to ensure processes are adhered to.
Qualifications:
* Courteous attitude and familiar with business etiquette when interacting with visitors, customers and colleagues.
* Proficient in office software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for efficient task management and communication.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience in administrative roles, showcasing competence in handling administrative tasks and office procedures.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies to support continuous improvement in administrative functions.
* Familiarity with security protocols and practices to protect confidential data and maintain organisational security standards.
* Takes responsibility for accuracy of own work with minimal rework.
Additional Information:
Security clearance: This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
