A new opportunity for an Lead Electrical Engineer to work with successful global leader in developing innovative business solutions for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. A business that Designs and constructs clean rooms who offer their services to well-known pharmaceutical companies who you would of Definity heard of before!
The role is based at their modern, well kitted office in Cheshire which is known as a great place to work. The company works with some of the best, and well-known pharmaceutical giants in major projects worth millions of pounds.
They are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to carry out and assist with new and upcoming project works with Pharmaceutical and cleanroom facilities in the UK. The business is dynamic and prides itself on being a true champion of collaboration and innovation.
In the main, they are looking for someone that is comfortable with client facing responsibilities. All you need is (Minimum) HNC and 5 years+ experience within industry. Preference will be given to those with GMP / Pharma experience but those without will not be discounted.
Responsibilities
✔ Managing project-specific electrical design deliverables
✔ Developing detailed designs in line with the companies procedures and industry standards
✔ Interpreting client requirements and ensuring compliance with specifications
✔ Conducting site surveys, feasibility studies, and optioneering exercises
✔ Producing procurement specifications and detailed construction drawings
✔ Overseeing third-party designs and supporting installation & commissioning teams
✔ Reviewing vendor Functional Design Specifications for compliance
✔ Completing design calculations and full power system modelling (AMTECH)
✔ Developing electrical scopes, specifications, cable schedules, and telemetry schedules
✔ Performing design risk assessments and maintaining project documentation
