About the Role: As a Senior Engineer – BOM Development, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and delivering the RCD Integrated Bill of Material (iBoM) for major naval shipbuilding programmes. Working closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and the customer, you'll be responsible for: Coordinating the RCD BOM implementation and management, ensuring compliance with programme requirements. Defining joint BAES NS and ISI BOM composition and implementing authorised changes. Developing digital toolset requirements to transfer BOM data effectively between systems. Providing training and guidance to ensure effective BOM management across the team. Delivering quality metrics and overseeing the technical testing of BOM solutions. Key Skills and Experience: In-depth understanding of BOM processes and product information management. Experience with CAD/PLM/PDM/ERP toolsets (e.g., Windchill, Aveva ERM). Strong knowledge of PLM and data processes and systems. Familiarity with large platform or warship design and integration processes. Basic project and stakeholder management skills.
