The Opportunity

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will support your store and team, helping to train, coach, and engage them to surpass company objectives. You will assist in implementing business initiatives, managing store operations, customer service, budgeting, and product management. Additionally, you will take ownership of key areas and be accountable for the store in the Store Manager's absence.
Key Result Areas and Competencies
1. Operations
* Assist with all store operations and ensure KPI targets are met
* Support workload planning for an efficient team
* Make confident decisions and delegate effectively
* Ensure compliance with processes and maintain a safe environment
* Assist in training and coaching the team
* Use communication tools to monitor tasks and deadlines
2. Controls
* Use reports to monitor wages and resolve issues promptly
* Support store scheduling according to trading patterns
* Assist with payroll processing and compliance
* Ensure store meets standards for compliance, customer service, and security
* Be accountable for wages and store management in the absence of the Store Manager
* Understand business and customer needs to deliver excellent service
* Maximize sales opportunities through product knowledge and team training
* Track and communicate KPI performance to the team
* Analyze reports to support sales and profitability
* Interpret merchandising guidelines effectively
3. Development
* Identify internal talent and support performance management
* Address performance issues professionally
* Engage in personal development and accept feedback
* Promote Frasers Group values and coach the team accordingly
* Encourage team feedback and serve as a communication point

Qualifications and Requirements
* Supervisory or management experience in a fast-paced retail environment
* Proven ability to impact sales, payroll, and stock loss
* Experience in developing talent
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Commitment to supporting high store standards and customer service
