Key responsibilities of a Brake Press Operator:
Producing sheet details for customer drawings and tooling
Using an Amada Brake Press for a variety of applications
Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
Liaising with other operatives to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
Reading and following engineering directions
Complying with company ITAR/EAR requirements
Required experience of a Brake Press Operator:
Ability to read aircraft drawings and specifications.
Must be fully conversant on the setting and operating of the CNC brake press
Ability to inspect own work critically and objectively
Ability to maintain equipment & perform minor repairs if necessary
ICT literate to deal with various technologies and programmes
Experience with the use of Amada brake presses is an advantage
