Job Description Bank Radiology Health Care Assistant | Rowley Hall Hospital | Bank Hours To provide chaperone duties for gynaecology and musculo-skeletal ultrasound lists with sonographers and radiologists (including joint injections), to organise efficient running of ultrasound lists, make bookings to ultrasound lists, telephone confirmation of appointments. You will also assistant with sonographers and consultants for ultrasound injections including oversight of the consent process, administrative tasks including recording of products used during list, care of patient before and after examination. You will need to do specific equipment cleaning, basic ultrasound quality assurance and other administrative tasks when lists are not in progress. The Role The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, good attention to detail and be flexible with their work patterns. The role will be varied with the successful candidate working closely with the Radiographers, Registered Nurses and consultants, to provide a safe and caring environment for our patients. Previous experience of the healthcare environment is desirable. Successful candidate must be available for 2 days mandatory training (paid).
