An exciting opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and skilled Clinical Nurse Team Leader (RMN) to join a dedicated team providing specialist care for children and young people with complex mental health needs. Based in a beautiful manor house, this role offers the chance to lead and inspire a team while delivering exceptional care and promoting recovery in a supportive environment.
As a Clinical Nurse Team Leader, you will take on a leadership role, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth operation of the service and high standards of patient care.
Requirements for the Clinical Nurse Team Leader Role
* A Registered Nurse Qualification (Registered Mental Health Nurse/RMN) with current NMC registration.
* Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a mental health setting.
* Strong clinical skills, including experience in assessments, care planning, and risk management.
* Ability to motivate and support a team, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
* Comprehensive knowledge of mental health conditions, safeguarding procedures, and therapeutic interventions.

What your day will look like:
* Leadership & Team Management: Provide clinical leadership and day-to-day guidance to nursing and care staff, ensuring a cohesive and effective team.
* Patient Care & Safety: Oversee the care, welfare, and safety of all patients, maintaining the highest standards of care delivery.
* Clinical Assessments & Care Plans: Conduct thorough physical and psychological assessments of new patients and lead the development of individualised care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
* Medication Administration: Supervise and participate in the safe administration and recording of medications in line with policies and procedures.
* Mentorship & Supervision: Act as a mentor to nursing staff, providing support, supervision, and professional development opportunities.
* Collaboration with Stakeholders: Build and maintain effective working relationships with external health professionals, families, and other care providers.
* Staff Development & Rotas: Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and ensure appropriate staffing levels through efficient rota management.
* Compliance & Best Practice: Ensure all activities comply with CQC standards and company policies, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
