We are exclusively supporting a semiconductor and advanced electronics organisation with a global footprint.
They have manufacturing facilities across the globe and seek a team of service engineers/maintenance technicians to work at their UK production facility in Bedford.
They have a diverse product portfolio, some are cutting-edge technology, and some are based on old designs, but the technology is still relevant today. This means some of the tools/equipment they use are old and replacement parts are obsolete.
We require an experienced electronic technician who can fault find and work down to component/PCB level and fix machines. This is not suited to someone who is used to swapping boards with new ones, some of them do not have replacement boards.
It is a 'roll-your-sleeves-up' position where we need someone who is not afraid to get involved with minor mechanical topics too.
A summary of the required skillset is below:
* Electrical engineering background/education
* Minimum 3 years in a similar position
* Fault finding experience
* Repair down to component/PCB level
