About the Role

Here at InspireU we deliver study programmes to local people aged between 16 – 24 years old, who may have behavioural issues or need support academically. Our learners are with us to complete lessons in Maths, English and Preparing for Adulthood and work experience. As a Job Coach, you will be supporting them in the community to access local employers and support them on the job within a variety of work experience placements.
Working as a Job Coach provides a genuine opportunity to make a difference and have a positive impact on people's lives.
About You
It is essential that you hold the following:
* IAG Careers Advice and Guidance Level 2 or related qualification
* English and Maths GCSE or equivalent
* Access to own vehicle for transporting learners to work placements
* TSI qualification, or willingness to work towards
We are looking for someone who can be proactive, work autonomously, is keen to further develop their skills and has experience of providing employment support.
You will also need to demonstrate:
* Knowledge & promotion of the ethics and values to the individuals you will be working with
* Knowledge of employment support
* High standards of person-centred working
* The ability to empathise and listen
* Expertise to build and maintain trust & rapport.
