Bookkeeper
Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire
Hours: 30 - 37.5 hours a week across 4 or 5 days a week (full time office hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm)
Salary: up to £26,000 per annum (this is based on 37.5 hours per week)
Benefits: Hybrid working after training, 21 days holiday + bank holidays, 50% paid cover on private medical insurance, yearly bonus scheme - depending on company performance and team social events.

Who are we?

What you'll do:
1. Managing client bookkeeping records
2. Processing sales and purchase invoices
3. Conducting bank reconciliations
4. Preparing and submitting VAT returns
5. Responding to client queries in a timely manner
6. Collaborating closely with the accounts team to ensure accurate financial reporting
What we are looking for:
1. Experience with Xero & Sage is advantageous, but we provide comprehensive training
2. Candidates should be currently studying towards at least AAT Level 3 and AAT Level 2 may be considered for an exceptional applicant
3. Previous experience in a practice is preferred but not essential
