Tankering Supervisor (Nights)

We operate 24/7, and as such, you are required to work flexible hours, weekends, and participate in an on-call rota. Full training, PPE, and use of company equipment will be provided to ensure that all our drainage engineers have the right tools, competency, and confidence to undertake the work to Lanes’ high standard of operation regardless of background or previous experience.
Position: Night Tankering Supervisor
Location: Iver Depot, Colnbrook, Berkshire (LMC)
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: 4 nights on, 4 nights off, 48 hours
Salary: £21.40 per hour

Responsibilities:
1. Champion of Health and Safety.
2. Complete the targeted amount of site inspections per month.
3. Coordinate all onsite movements, processes, and safety standards.
4. Daily training of new employees with a sign-off of their competence throughout the training stages.
5. Aid and assist Line Management in the capture of Toolbox Talks issued for the month.
6. Ensure compliance of Engineers on sites, whom the Supervisor is in control of.
7. Daily handovers into management, following procedures set out by Senior Management.
8. Ensure data capture is being followed by on-site operatives.
9. Take lead in setting up and collapsing sites following Health & Safety and Client Standards, including any hired equipment.
10. Be aware of Lanes Group policies and your responsibility towards them.
11. Carry out any ad-hoc, reasonable requests by the line manager or senior management.
