Purpose Statement: We are seeking a highly motivated Production Operator to join our team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Livingston, UK. As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations by efficiently and accurately producing high-quality products that meet customer requirements and deadlines. You will learn and develop your skills while contributing to a safe and productive work environment. Key Job Accountabilities: Production Operations: Operate production equipment and processes following established procedures and work instructions. Assist in the creation and improvement of work instructions as needed. Quality Assurance: Adhere to strict quality standards, monitor work for accuracy, and identify and escalate any quality issues. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, including timekeeping, production data, inventory, and quality documentation. Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, and product quality. Training & Development: Learn and maintain proficiency in all required job skills and certifications. Train other team members as needed. Education/Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred. Previous experience in electronics production/manufacturing preferred. Basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new tasks quickly. Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods. Ability to frequently reach, bend, kneel, and stoop. Ability to lift up to 20.4 KG (45 lbs) and carry up to 4.5 KG (15 lbs). Ability to use fine motor skills and hand tools.
