We are located close to a railway station and other good transport links and have a large onsite carpark You would be leading a team of account handlers ensuring customer needs are met, ensuring your team are meeting all their KPI's and are achieving all their development plans and identifying training needs, supporting the to achieve personal and business goals along with keeping them up to date with changes within PIB and monitoring workloads ensuring they are fair and manageable.

Key Responsibilities:
Referral point within the team and within the team for coaching, mentoring and workload management to ensure team members continuing development Maintain a working diary and ensure all renewals are dealt with in good time by allocating and monitoring workloads and renewal lists within the team Use of MI to monitor and report on customer outcome KPIs and regulatory requirements (e.g. contract certainty, overdue renewals, renewals issued in good time) Managing absence, including workloads during absences to ensure customers outcomes are still met Carry out 1-1s with staff on a regular basis to ensure individual KPIs are being met Carry out performance reviews as required and follow the correct procedure in doing so Collaborate and communicate with other broking teams, including team leaders to ensure consistency and sharing of workload where required Maintain data integrity by keeping records up to date throughout all systems Collaborate with other departments within PIB to ensure the best service is provided to customers Collaborate with other teams including central functions to enable team development e.g. roll out new or updated procedures where required Continual professional development within all aspects of the industry including continued growth and expansion of product knowledge and technical expertise Ensure all PIB policies and procedures are understood and adhered to Monitor QA results within the team and ensure any training or other requirements (e.g. second person sign off) are met Ensure team members are notifying the relevant person within the business (which may be yourself) if any procedures or policies are not adhered to Participation in the performance review process where required Carry out interviews for new starters where required, inducting new members into the team including recording and monitoring of competency in line with company requirements Demonstrate at all times the core values and behaviours as published from time to time Promote and be mindful of the general principals of FCA compliance including but not limited to Treating Customers Fairly, Financial Crime, Data Protection and Anti-Bribery Procedures Skills
Organised with the ability to prioritise and allocate workloads across your team according to business need. Excellent time management skills to plan ahead to meet SLAs to ensure a timely service to clients. Ability to mentor team members providing guidance and support on queries or issues. Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work under pressure facilitating competing demands and influence your colleagues to achieve the best outcome. Accomplished in providing effective performance management ensuring training needs are identified and met.
Insight to identify and pursue the development of team members supporting continual improvement and career aspirations. Ability to analyse and interpret management information to maximise capacity, efficiency and performance. Excellent communications skills, being confident and grammatically articulate. Knowledge
Good understanding of the broking insurance market and the main classes of commercial insurance. Comprehensive understanding of the application of FCA compliance and regulatory requirements including the application of FCA compliance and regulatory requirements such as Treating Customers Fairly, Financial Crime, Data Protection and Anti-Bribery Procedures. Excellent understanding of the PIB policies and procedures and their application in the working environment. Lead by example continuingly improving and taking pride in your team’s accomplishments. Driven to deliver good customer service leading by example and displaying the PIB core values and behaviours. Desire to develop new skills and continue professional development. Expert use of operational Acturis ensuring updates by your team are made accurately to data quality standards for effective MI and reporting.
