Overview
As an Enterprise Solution Architect at Blue Yonder, you will work within our Consulting Services division to provide expert guidance and support to our customers in the design, business process and implementation of enterprise-level solutions. You will be responsible for leading the design and architecture of complex solutions, providing a point of authority on the solution capabilities and ensuring customers realise the value from their Blue Yonder solutions.
Scope
Responsible for deployment and business process leadership in Retail Planning, with experience across the merchandise financial planning, allocation, and assortment domains, and applying that knowledge to improve customer processes. Leveraged as the multi-solution expert for transformational projects / programs. In this role, you will solve customer problems by designing best-in-class solutions using the suite of products in the Retail domain (Softline and Fashion Retail), as well as being on the leading edge with our latest interoperable SaaS innovations and industry trends.
What you’ll do
1. Provide advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology and become a “trusted advisor” to the customer
2. Guide the customer through the change required to obtain the business value
3. Prepare and deliver presentations to user, management, and executive level audiences
4. Conduct business process analysis, blueprinting, and overall design sessions to facilitate solution design documentation
5. Develop functional specifications that meet the customers' business objectives and are of sound design
6. Serve as a functional liaison, attend and contribute to key meetings between project managers, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors
7. Ensure that all issues/risks are highlighted and assist in resolving issues and mitigating risks
8. Participate in all aspects of the project to ensure successful delivery
9. Assist in mentoring junior resources and support strategic initiatives
10. Document and communicate customer business cases to Product Management and Product Development regarding specific trends for future product functionality and enhancements
11. Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers / projects and assist in sales efforts
12. Be able to travel and go on-site in the EMEA region
What we are looking for
13. 8+ years of experience in Retail Planning solutions design and large, transformational implementations in the Softline / Fashion Retail domain is required
14. Strong understanding of enterprise-level business process, solution architecture and design principles
15. Deep and broad hands-on experience in using, implementing, and/or supporting Retail Planning applications, preferably Blue Yonder, is required.
16. Ideally, we are seeking an individual with Merchandise Financial Planning, Allocation, Assortment, Forecasting, and/or Replenishment.
17. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
18. Excellent communication and presentation skills
19. Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices
20. C-Level communication experience and strong stakeholder management, in reliance to work expectation: Prepare and deliver presentations to user, management, and executive level audiences
21. Experience in leading teams and mentoring junior staff
22. Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, or Business preferred
23. Relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree
