Behaviour Mentor – Immediate Start – Custom House
A fantastic school in Custom House is looking to appoint a Behaviour Mentor to work with students displaying challenging behaviours and help them thrive in their learning environment.
This is a full-time role, ideal for someone with at least one year of experience working in a school setting. A Sports Coach or anyone with a background in sports and behaviour management would be well suited for this position.
The successful applicant will:
✔ Have at least one year of experience working in a school
✔ Be confident working with children who display challenging behaviours
✔ Use positive behaviour management strategies to engage and support students
✔ Have the ability to build trust and strong relationships with pupils and staff
✔ Be patient, resilient, and able to adapt to different situations
✔ Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to implement effective interventions
The school:

Provides training and professional development opportunities
Located close to public transport links
Requirements:
At least one year of experience working in a school setting
Background in PE coaching, behaviour mentoring, or similar roles is a benefit
Strong communication and de-escalation skills
Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
