Sales Director, Fidante The purpose of this role is to successfully position Challenger and Fidante as an investment management leader in the UK institutional and wholesale market, develop and implement a successful sales strategy for a range of investment capabilities. The role will work with our affiliates to build and diversify their businesses and contribute to the institutional distribution team in a collaborative and effective manner to further support our global growth and presence. The Sales Director will work with selected Challenger Funds Management and Fidante Partners investment strategies in the UK institutional and wholesale market. The responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Raise assets by identifying and securing new clients. Manage and expand existing client relationships. Maintain existing consultant ratings and platform listings while actively pursuing new ones. Assist in preparing investment analysis and client-facing materials for prospects and consultants. Support the preparation and, when appropriate, delivery of client reporting, including annual and quarterly reports, transaction and fund updates, and Q&A sessions. Coordinate the development of capability papers, pitch materials, thought leadership pieces, RFPs, and other relevant documents. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities. Contribute to product development initiatives by generating and refining new ideas. Deliver presentations to clients, prospective clients, and consultants as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Challenger to ensure seamless sales and client activity. The Global Institutional Development team comprises experienced business development and client service executives, located in Australia, Japan, United Kingdom and Sweden, with deep experience in all aspects of institutional investment management. We operate in a fast-paced environment that thrives on a collaborative approach aligning capability and expertise to meet and exceed client and prospect needs in a flexible manner. The team values integrity, aiming high, and collaboration. To excel in this role, a significant level of experience is required: You will likely have 5-10 years of experience in institutional asset management sales. Must possess strong existing relationships with UK Institutional Investors. Experience managing institutional and wholesale client relationships and retaining FUM in the UK market. Strong understanding of multiple asset classes, with a commitment to continuous learning and expansion of expertise. Demonstrated success working with global asset consultants and wealth platforms. Undergraduate degree in economics, finance, science, or engineering. IMC, CIMA, or CFA desirable, however not essential.
