Accounts Payable Clerk At Bidwells, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding service across the property sector. Our Finance Department is at the heart of our operations, providing strategic, management, and operational financial support to the Firm. As part of this dynamic team, our Accounts Payable team ensures the smooth processing of supplier documents and manages key supplier relationships. We are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our fast-paced team. This role is integral to ensuring that all supplier transactions are processed efficiently, accurately, and in line with our high standards. This is a busy role, supporting our 600 people strong business across the entirety of the UK. This role will primarily be office based however some agile working from home will be considered. What You’ll Be Doing Assisting with supplier onboarding, approvals, and maintenance in NetSuite. Validating supplier bank details to ensure accuracy and security. Managing various Outlook inboxes for finance-related queries. Processing and sending supplier documents for approval through DocuPeak. Acting as the first point of contact for supplier queries. Liaising with the wider business to obtain outstanding supplier documents, purchase orders, and approvals. Managing and maintaining purchase orders. Reconciling supplier statements and processing supplier payment runs. Maintaining ledgers as required. Supporting the expense approval and payment process. Assisting the wider business with Accounts Payable and expense-related queries. Providing documentation for audits. Undertaking additional duties as required to support the team. What We’re Looking For Essential: Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Excel. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. A proactive team player. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Desirable: Experience using NetSuite. Demonstrable experience of working within an Accounts Payable role. Why Bidwells?
