1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Milton Keynes
Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Salary: £12.90+ per day
Job Duties:
* Provide one-on-one support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
* Assist with the implementation of the Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) tailored to each student's needs
* Support the teacher in delivering personalised learning activities and interventions
* Help students with SEN to develop their academic and social skills
* Monitor and record student progress, and report back to the teacher
Required Qualifications:
* Experience working with children or young adults with SEN
* Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
Education: Minimum of a level 4/5 in GCSE English and Maths
Experience: Prior experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN support strategies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional training in specific areas of SEN, such as autism or dyslexia
Working Conditions:
* Work primarily in a classroom setting
* Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
* Potential for additional training and professional development opportunities
